Snowy Macramé - Bracelet
As seen in the Rings & Things 2010 Super Supplement
Created by: Rita Hutchinson

1 #41-120-81-8 10x2x6mm ornate prong bail, copper plate
1 #44-780-01 30x16mm dog tag (blank) with hole, copper
2 #28-615-526 Two-sided tiny ceramic snowflake beads, raku
8 ft #61-210-10-00 Hemptique™ 10-lb test hemp cord assortment (use 4 ft each of 2 colors)

Tools and supplies: scissors, Rings & Things metal stamping tool kit (#69-299), liver of sulfur gel (#86-324)

TIPS:
* It is helpful to anchor knotting projects. A clipboard works well for this purpose. Fold both pieces of cord in half and clamp under the clip. Or use a piece of foam core or Styrofoam™ and straight pins to secure the cord.

* The knotted pattern is created using alternating half-hitch knots. Max Lunger’s book, Hemp Masters: Ancient Hippie Secrets for Knotting Hip Hemp Jewelry (#62-250) offers more information on macramé techniques.
