Spaceman - Resin Belt Buckle

Created by: Cindy Morris

1 #30-682-20-1 59mm two-part rectangle belt buckle, nickel
1 #28-685-251 Ceramic astronaut bead, black/white
1 #82-500-08 8oz EasyCast epoxy resin kit
1 Copyright-free image

Tools and supplies: scissors, resin mixing set (#92-599), packing tape

TIPS:
* Seal both sides of the image with clear packing tape, or laminate to prevent discoloration.

* To keep the resin from leaking, use packing tape to seal the back of the buckle. Remove the tape, once the resin cures.

* Allow the belt buckle to cure on a level surface. Turn a cardboard box over, cut a slot in the box, and set the buckle in the hole.

Design option: Solder on a short piece of wire to make rabbit ear antennae for your TV.
