Tools and supplies: side cutters, chain-nose pliers, round-nose pliers, hammer, bench block, alphabet stamps (#69-241-01), awl (#65-801), two-hole metal punch (#69-235), Renaissance® wax (#86-915) , Envirotex spray sealer (#82-525-12), alcohol inks, yarn, bullet casings
TIPS:
* Use a heat gun instead of an oven for the image transfer. It makes it much easier to remove the paper! Seal the image transfers with Renaissance wax.
* Color the stamped tags with alcohol inks. Seal with Envirotex spray sealer (#82-525-12). For a glossier look, paint on EasyCast epoxy resin (#82-500-08) or other dimensional glaze. Don’t use Renaissance wax, as the inks will smear.
* Punch holes in the bullet casings with a nail or awl. Your local recycling center may be a good source for spent casings.
