We're honest about our gemstones, even when it hurts!
"Are our gemstone beads dyed, stained, treated, enhanced or synthetic? In many cases, yes. Sometimes we confuse customers because we indicate that our product is treated, enhanced or even manmade when our competitors still claim it to be natural. We've lost sales because our customers went to a competitor to buy a 'genuine' product that was exactly the same as ours. This was the case with hematite beads, African 'amber,' cherry 'quartz' and a few other stones where the industry was slow to acknowledge a material or process that replaced or improved on natural products."
