Description
- Stamped charms are generally one-sided, and either flat or slightly domed.
- Size given is height x width and includes loop. Most loops are 0.8-1.2mm (inner diameter).
- Raw steel is unplated, plain steel that has been stamped out from a steel sheet on a punch press. Items are "rinsed" in a sheet of dry sawdust to remove grease left behind from the press.
- Raw steel charms sometimes have a thin coat of oil, so be sure to wash them before gluing. Warm water and detergent (dry to avoid water spots) or alcohol and a cotton ball will do the trick.
