Superduo beads are two hole Czech glass beads with tapered ends and a raised center area between the two holes. When looking at the holes, the bead has an oval shape. In profile, the raised center creates a diamond shape from the side. The raised center on the SuperDuo is more pronounced than in twin beads, allowing seed beads to nestle more snugly against SuperDuos, and allowing for the SuperDuos to interlock. Two-hole rulla beads are a popular shape of Czech glass beads that give you exciting options in beading and stringing. The rulla shape is similar to a two-hole brick bead.
