Designer Tips
- New to jewelry making? See Basic Jewelry-Making Technique Sheet (PDF) for instructions on opening jump rings.
- Choose your favorite color of crsytal for this design!
- To begin with, place your round crystal bead onto an eye pin. Create a simple wire loop right after the bead and trim off excess wire.
- To construct the earring, we are going to build from the top down. Open the loop at the base of your earring hook, the same way you would open a jump ring, and link it to one of the side rings on your connector link. Close the loop back up.
- On the other side of the connector link, link the crystal segment you made in the first step via it's simple loop (again, just open and close the loop like a jump ring).
- On the other side of the crystal segment, connect your charm via the other simple loop. Close the loop.
- Repeat these steps to create your second earring to make a matched pair.
