Summer Rain Bracelet Tutorial

Designer Tips

• Place a wire guard on the round link and crimp a 10-inch piece of flex wire through the wire guard (see Jewelry Basics 101 - PDF).
• String one each in this order:
• 3mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 4mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 3mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead,
• pearl, 2mm silver bead, 3mm silk, 2mm silver bead, pearl, 2mm silver bead,
• 3mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 4mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 3mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead,
• pearl, 2mm silver bead, 3mm silk, 2mm silver bead, pearl, 2mm silver bead
• 3mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 4mm aquamarine, 2mm silver bead, 3mm aquamarine.
• Use another wire guard and crimp to attach to the lobster clasp.

• Using one 4mm jump ring, attach one end of the chain to the the round link.
• Attach one 6mm jump ring to the other end of chain.
• Using the other 6mm jump ring, attach the 9mm princess cut crystal.
• Using the other 4mm jump ring, attach the tassel.
• Using your cutters, trim the tassel a little shorter.
• Optional: to keep the entire bracelet sterling silver, create your own tassel using the remainder of the chain (cut 5 pieces approx. 1 inch, and 3 shorter). Top the tassel with a sterling bead cap such as #43-547-01 flower bead cap, or #43-545-03 filigree bead cap. Use a head pin or sterling wire to bring the top of the tassel up through the bead cap, and form a loop to attach to the 10mm round link.
• Place the remaining crystals on head pins (one bead per head pin).
• Randomly attach the head pins to 5 of the tassel ends using wrapped loops (see Jewelry Basics 101 - PDF).
