When using a link, cut the anchor cord in half, and attach each to the link with a lark's head knot.
Cut the working cord in half, and start next to the link, working your way to the ends on one side, and then repeat on the other side.
This bracelet is spiral twisted due to the knots all being half knots (starting from one side) instead of square knots (which consist of two half knots, each started from opposite sides).
Optional: All beads can be strung onto the bottom of the anchor cords before anchoring to the board, and slid into place as you knot.
Tips for the adjustable portion of this bracelet:
- The length of cord to cut for the adjustable clasp section says 12" in the tutorial, but this leaves little to work with at the end, so I increased it to 18".
- Tight knots make it difficult to sew the tails back in, and you can break your needle. Pliers can help to get the needle through. Sew the tail back through the entire section of knots to ensure that it doesn't back out.
- The sliding clasp can be made longer as desired to fill any gaps left when pulled snug.
- The entire bracelet is somewhat adjustable. The knots can be scrunched together or pulled apart on the anchor cords in order to adjust length.
Separating the ends of the cord with a needle makes a nice tassel.
