Magnetic Clasps

Magnetic clasps are wonderfully easy to wear, and are an excellent option for bracelet designs and for people with impaired hand motion. Choose from a wide array of styles, including superior-quality MAG-LOK clasps. Materials and finishes available include sterling silver, gold fill, brass, silver plated, gold plated, antiqued brass, copper plated, antiqued copper, black gunmetal, white plated, and two-tone styles.

Tips:

• Use durable finishing methods with these clasps, since they have an extremely strong hold!
• Pay attention to the underlying material of your chain or other stringing material. Steel-based chain will stick to magnetic clasps, which can be interesting, but is generally not preferred.
• Magnetic clasps should be opened by holding the clasp directly, instead of tugging the cord. A "twist-slide" motion works better than pulling the clasp halves straight apart, especially with TierraCast and Superior Quality magnetic clasps.
