Our red brass craft wire is made from an alloy of 90% copper and 10% zinc. This provides a slightly warmer color than most brass jewelry supplies. Choose from round, half-round, and square wire in sizes ranging between 14 gauge to 28 gauge. Plus, find a selection of other fancy wire shapes. Make beautiful (and colorful) artisan jewelry by combining brass sheet and wire with copper and sterling silver or economical nickel silver sheet. Choose from 16-gauge (thicker) to 28-gauge (thinner) metal sheet for piercing and sawing into custom shapes, dapping (doming), forming into bracelet cuffs, embossing, and other fine craft applications. 24-gauge sheet works great for metal stamping. 20-gauge sheet works great for chemical etching.
