- Swaging a small-headed post into a thick pad with reinforcing from the back side. This "double riveting" technique virtually assures that in the most common bend test for ear posts, the post itself will break before the assembly joint fails.

Titanium Posts are easy on the ears.
My ears are sensitive to many metals, but the titanium posts do not irritate. Good to use hypoallergenic posts like these in all my creations. And they can be hard to find, but Rings and Things has bee supplying these for years.
