Description

Back in Stock -- Again! The original manufacturer closed, and satiny rattail cording was unavailable for a while. Now it's back and better than ever -- the new nylon version is colorfast!

"Rattail"
Satin-Like Cord

Necklace finishing methods:

  • Single-strand necklaces are normally finished with fold-over crimps.
  • Multistrand necklaces are normally finished with cones or bullet ends (to hide messy ends).

Pendants:

  • This shiny cording is popular for handmade ceramic pendants, and slumped and fused art glass, using glue-on bails.
  • This cord can snag if a jump ring or split ring slides back and forth across it, so instead, use good quality bails that don't have sharp spots. (Aanraku, TierraCast, JBB and our other cast jewelry bails work well.)
