What a nifty little gadget!!
I just tried on of the jump ring opening rings, and I LIKE IT! I put it on my left index finger, and then grasp the jump ring with pliers in my right hand. I can still be holding on to the piece I'm creating and open AND close jump rings. WOOHoo! Now, I can see that I'm going to have to be careful with the angle of my wrist, or tendonitis will ensue, but as long as I do that, I think it's going to work out really well. Using this little handy dandy will be much better than jockeying with two pairs of pliers and struggling with holding my project.

Art made easy
This tool has been invaluable in my work. It's cheap, which is always a plus when you're on a budget, but the time it saves is really where it shines. With this, you don't need to hassle with a second pair of pliers and possibly dropping what you are working on. It works well with findings or charms attached to close jump rings, though sometimes that requires an artful hold with your pliers if your jump ring is small. My one complaint would be that I have thick fingers so while it is [I assume!] supposed to rest just before the knuckle, wearing it for extended periods can get uncomfortable.

How have I lived so long without this?!?!?!
This is the best two dollars you will spend towards your jewelry tool kit. You simply slide this on your finger (it usually rests before the knuckle), then holding the jump ring with your pliers, place the jump ring in the slot and then easily open it with the pliers. Almost one-handed operation. It is the best! It also works well to close the jump ring even when it has chains attached, place it back in the slot and close away. This tool will save you time because you won't need to pick up a second tool to open/close. Don't complete your order without adding one to your cart!
