However, it can be stamped, soldered, and giving the finish of your choice.To give an effortless high polish to bar copper items, tumble-polish them.Or, to give varying degrees of shine, from a matte finish to a mirror finish, use sandpaper or sanding sponges, and finish with an ULTRA polish pad.Raw copper items sometimes have a thin coat of oil. Warm water and detergent, or alcohol and a cotton ball, are all it takes to remove it. Prolonged contact with bare copper may discolor the skin of the wearer.
