In spite of the strong smell (use this outdoors!), this is a great sealer for metal, wood, and paper. The package also says it works on stone, most fabrics and plastics. Current testing of metal coloring methods has shown that metal filigrees inked and spray sealed withstood several hours in the tumbler, with no loss of color.
