Description

Mix or shake well before every use. Consistency should be like tomato sauce from a can, or thinner. If it looks rough or patchy, or forms a ridge when dipping, then add water (preferably bottled or distilled) and mix well.

Do not store jar over 120F (50C). FosterFire has no expiration date; it doesn't "go bad".

(We normally place a piece of paper on our sifting worksurface, so we can easily dump excess enamel back in the container it came from, or in a mixed bin.) Oxidizing Tips Always work in a well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Make sure your metal is clean, dry (and warm if using Win-Ox™). Dip your piece directly into the oxidizer or apply with a brush. Optional: after rinsing and drying the metal, buff gently to create antiqued crevices and shiny high points. For safety and consistent results, antique your components before assembling, especially when creating items from mixed metals. Each metal reacts differently to each oxidizing solution, and some reactions involving multiple metals are hazardous or unpredictable.
