Reddish-rust colored goldstone beads offer a brilliant flash with inclusions of copper crystals! Sometimes mistaken for orange-colored sunstone beads, these gemstone beads are actually manmade from glass with added copper salts. Through a unique cooling process, the copper salts turn into copper crystals, creating semiprecious beads with a special gleam. The name "goldstone" comes from the story that the gemstone was created when Italian monks tried making gold out of base ingredients (alchemy).
