Description
If you've purchased these from us for a long time, then you may remember that they were formerly made of stainless steel. Since most forms of stainless steel contain nickel as part of their essential alloy, the manufacturer switched to aluminum to meet the EU nickel directive.

Very disappointed to see these in aluminum instead of steel
Very disappointed long term customer seeing that these are now aluminum. I understand the need to meet EU regulations but for those of us in the US, aluminum is viewed as a cheapy, low quality metal that simply cannot compare to steel in terms of durability and it's difficult to explain to my customers why they should be just as happy with it when in the past they've been able to get them in steel. I would really encourage you to bring these back in steel for your US customers, who, I assume make up the bulk of your customer base. {R&T reply: Hi Alexis, the US manufacturer of these converted the manufacturing from steel to aluminum some years ago. They no longer make them from steel, so adding them back isn't an option.}
