Economy Needle Files, 6pc (set)

These files are pretty crappy. Every time I tried giving them a go I wound up getting annoyed at how poorly they worked and swapping to the diamond files I had gotten at the same time. The metal rings around the handles all came loose pretty swiftly as well. Not quite sure why I keep them around, to be honest. But for the price paid, I'm not too surprised.

These files work nicely for smoothing rough corners off freshly-cut copper and brass sheet. They are so inexpensive, that I don't mind (ab)using them just to see IF they are the right tool for a project. I use the basic flat, and the triangle shaped file the most. I've also used them to texture surfaces (i.e., intentionally scratch up the entire surface of a brass or copper blank). Great assortment for the price!
