i like the 26g but i prefered working with the 24g it is more sturdy and make the weaving faster

This tool is great. It makes it very easy to create a Viking chain. I personally tried many different gauges of wire. The tool will accommodate gauges 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 32. I preferred using the 22 & 24. That way it builds a lot quicker.
