Square on Square Earrings Tutorial

The rounded corners of Swarovski's cushion square stone in Rose Water Opal crystal, gently echo the rounded corners of TierraCast's Flora square connector in these gently squared earrings.

Designer Tips

Place a Swarovski square cushion stone in the bezel setting. Hold the bezel setting firmly on a rubber block. Use the burnisher to carefully push the first bezel prong until it is set against the stone. Rotate the bezel setting so the second prong you set is opposite the first one. Then set the final two prongs in the same manner.
Use a jump ring to connect the crystal-bezel charm to the flora square connector link. (Be sure to use a twisting action to open and close the jump ring.)
Twist open the earring loop and attach it to the top of the flora square connector link. Twist the earring loop securely closed.
Add French wire keeper to the earring tail. (Optional)
