• This liquid solution etches the surface of glass, creating a frosted, matte finish.
• Works on gemstones, too! We've tried it on a wide variety of agates, jaspers, and other stones, and so far it has given a nice matte finish to all the gemstone beads and pendants that we've tried it on.
• We've also found that it removes all tarnish and patina from solid copper, bringing back its original shine.
• Easy to use & reuse; simply pour back into original bottle when finished dipping.
• Does not work on Pyrex® or borosilicate glass. Usually works on Japanese seed beads, but their coating seems to make the remaining etchall lose effectiveness. Will strip off decorative coatings (such as aurora borealis).
