Center-Crimp Cord Ends

Center crimp end pieces are an easy way to cleanly finish the ends of leather, ribbon, and other jewelry cord when you're making necklaces and bracelets. Choose from 925 sterling silver, a variety of plated brass options, and raw (unplated) brass, which provides a lush, warm hue in artisan jewelry that's similar to gold - but at a much friendlier price. You can polish raw brass to a bright and shiny finish, or oxidize it if you want a distressed (antiqued) look.

To use, simply add a dab of glue (optional) to the end of your cord, slide on the center crimp, and flatten the center section with round-nose pliers or narrow chain-nose pliers. To create a full hook and eye clasp, pair up one center crimp w/ loop, and one center crimp w/ hook. Or, use two center crimps with loop (one on each end of your cord), then add any clasp of your choice.
