  • To remove tarnish, use copper cleaner, a polishing cloth, or fine grit (1000 - 1500) sandpaper.
  • To give a high polish to raw copper items, tumble-polish them with steel shot, water and a burnishing compound in a rock tumbler.
  • To create an antiqued look on raw copper, apply an oxidizing solution.
