Description
- Raw copper is unplated, and may not be as shiny as most plated finishes.
- To remove tarnish, use copper cleaner, a polishing cloth, or fine grit (1000 - 1500) sandpaper.
- To give a high polish to raw copper items, and/or remove rough edges, tumble-polish them with steel shot, water and a burnishing compound in a rock tumbler.
- To create an antiqued look on raw copper, apply an oxidizing solution.
