Crimp ends with loops are designed to be flattened. (Do not attempt to round them after flattening, like you would with crimp beads and crimping pliers.) Depending on their size (length) and your personal preferences, you can flatten them with round-nose pliers or chain-nose pliers (smooth flat-nose pliers). don't order

These are just what I needed. I used about 8 before I noticed that the sparkles on my table was all silver plate flakes. When I went to inspect the ends of the chains and add a jump ring, the loop popped off.

    Bad Batch?

These crimps seem to work well for all the projects that I have used them on. However, I have had 4 necklaces in the past month break right at the seam where the loop meets the crimp, luckily the beads have not gone flying. I have since bought a new batch and have yet to try and use them, but I am hopeful that it was just a bad batch.

    A great alternative

These crimp ends grip surprisingly well on both SoftFlex and on clear cords like Supplemax. At first I was using both glue and crimping, but I later found crimping was sufficient. These crimp ends look nice and eliminate the problem of hiding loops of cable at the end of each strand.
